1st passenger transporting electric locomotive

The first passenger transporting electric locomotive, SS9-0159 debuts in
a storehouse of Shanghai Locomotive Depot on June 6. It will be put in
use soon on the railway between Beijing and Shanghai. As the newest model
that is developed and manufactured in China and the fastest of its kind
(with the top speed of 106 miles per hour), it will be the most important
locomotive on the lines that are under the administration of Shanghai
Railroad Bureau.
